Stoughton Fair- Members participate in showing animals, craft projects, baked goods, etc. Jefferson County Fair- Members show their animals, craft projects, baked goods, and assist in the running of other activities. Dane County Fair- Members volunteer at the Dane County Kiddie Farm where they teach kids about different animals like calves, goats, chicks, and pigs, and how to interact with them. State Fair- Members volunteer at the House of Moo and help children learn about dairy products and farming through hands on activities such as milking a cow, interacting with a calf, and learning about the feed that is given to a calf and what is needed to keep it healthy. WLC- As juniors our members are given the opportunity to go to our nation's capital for a leadership conference. They spend the week touring the capital and the monuments, meeting new people and developing new relationships, and learning about what they can bring back to their chapter to help it grow and prosper. Welcome Back Picnic- Members meet for good food and conversation to talk about the upcoming year and it's activities. The officer team describes their positions and responsibilities and what they plan to do for the chapter. Sectional Leadership Workshops- younger members of the chapter are given the opportunity to go and talk to other chapters in our area and learn about leadership and how to work together to help move our chapter forward Fall Fest- Every year our chapter takes place in the annual fall fest. We set up stations with information on animals, plants and agricultural information. We show kids what agriculture is all about through interactive activities and hands on projects. There is face painting, coloring, and animals and both the High School and Middle School works together to put the stations together. Fire Conference- This conference is for middle school students and freshman and gives them the opportunity to experience going to a conference and meeting new people from around the state, while learning about how to be more involved in their chapter and advocating for agriculture. World Dairy Expo- Every year the officer team and Ag classes travel to the Dane County Fair Grounds for World Dairy Expo, where they volunteer serving ice cream, and learn about dairy and it's huge part in Agriculture. National Convention- Members get the opportunity to travel down to Indianapolis or Louisville, and take part in different sessions with national officers learning about leadership and growth within yourself as a member and as a chapter. They also get to do things like attend concerts, rodeos, talent shows, etc. 360 Conference- This conference is available to Juniors and Seniors and teaches them about how to take leadership roles in their chapter and teach the other members how to lead and prosper as they get older. Pancake Breakfast- every year members volunteer to raise money for the FFA Alumni by serving breakfast to the community. The money we raise goes back to our Alumni to help them because of how much money they spend helping fund our trips so that our members can go to all the different conferences and trips to learn about how to be a leader. Halftime Conference- 2 Officers attend this conference to learn about what they can bring back to their chapter and officer team with new ideas for the chapter.
